summer & mini camps

Keep your child active and learning when they are out of school with day or week-long camps with Kids In Sports. Our weekly and mini camps offer children the chance to continue honing the skills learned in their Kids In Sports classes or to be introduced to Kids In Sports for the first time. We offer a flexible schedule for parents to be able to sign up for any amount of weeks. Camps are offered indoors or outdoors depending on the time of year and age of the children, and they focus on baseball, basketball, floor hockey, football, lacrosse, soccer and volleyball.

Cooperative games emphasizing the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship are a staple of all camps and all ages. Younger children will also participate in arts and crafts, story-time, and other free-play activities and games, while our older camps focus more on engaging and immersing children more deeply into all the sports we teach.

summer camps

Basketball camp will focus on dribbling (ball control), passing, shooting, rebounding and footwork. Game will eventually be played.

 

Soccer camp will focus on dribbling (ball control), defending, Goalkeeper, attacking, fitness, passing.

 

Equipment needed for the camp: basketball, athletic sneakers and chin guards for soccer. Dress is sports attire. Water bottle and a light snack! 

All sessions will have water and snack breaks, and warm & cool down. Team building and co-operative games will also be part of the camp! 

mini camps
